Builder.Media Principals Accepting ASCE 2018 Sustainable Project of the Year Award

On Saturday, 6th October, at the Ronald Reagan Presidential library, Green Home Builder Magazine‘s Stuart Cochrane and Nick Slevin, developers of The ABC Green Home Project, sponsored by The Southern California Gas Company, accepted the American Society of Civil Engineers 2018 Sustainable Project of the Year Award, for their ABC 3.0, the high performance Net-Zero, LEED Platinum demonstration home build, located in Fullerton, CA.

Project Developer Slevin said he was pleased to accept the award on behalf of the architect Danielian Associates, the Civil Engineers Fuscoe Engineering, the MEP/Structural Engineering team at Gouvis Engineering and all of the Product Partner advertisers from Green Home Builder Magazine, as well as The Southern California Gas Company, who each supported the Net-Zero project by providing  their sustainable building materials and speciality services to the project. 
This is the 10th award for The ABC Green Home project, which has also won 2 Gold Nugget Grand Prizes from The California Building Industry Association, The So Cal Award from BIA/SC, the 2018 Green Interior of The Year Award from NAHB for the interior design by Jillian Pritchard Cooke. The ABC Green Home was also recognized by the U.S.Congress, the cities of Fullerton and Irvine, and the California State Legislature and Senate.
